An Agenda for the Market Square Farmers Market This Saturday, August 4!

During the Farmer's Market on August 4th we will be having workshops with a wealth of information on starting a business throughout the day:
At 10, the market opens with opening remarks for the two events, the Farmer's Market and the Home Matters Fundraiser for Project Homeless Connect and the Matt Urban Center.
At 11, the first workshop will commence. Clifford Bell from Buffalo State College will be our first speaker; he will be speaking about the Small Business Development program at Buffalo State College.
Following him at 12 noon will be Ben Bissell from the Westminister Economic Development Initative (WEDI). WEDI will be taking the time to discuss the West Side Bazaar.
At 1 p.m. Andrew Delmonte and Sarah Bishop from Buffalo First! will be conducting a workshop, about developing local and sustainable businesses.
At 2 p.m. our last speaker, Victoria Kuper from the Fancy and Delicious Bakery will be doing a workshop on worker-owned cooperatives and small-scale consumer cooperatives.
In between the workshops there will be hourly raffle drawings from the Home matter's Fundraiser starting at 11:30.
At 4pm the Farmer's Market Closes.
