We're hiring 2 Summer VISTAs!

We're hiring 2 Summer Associate VISTAs to serve from June 11-August 18.

The Summer Associates will collect data on our community level outcomes in target neighborhoods, carry out a foreclosure prevention outreach program, and help to plan a community event in a target neighborhood. Associates get the same living allowance as full-term VISTAs, and are eligible for a $1,174 education award.

It's AmeriCorps Week, and we're looking for Summer VISTAs!

The Corporation for National and Community Service and NeighborWorks® have offered us a chance to hire two VISTAs for this summer--they'll serve an eight-week term from June 21 to August 16. It's a full-time position with a stipend of $891 a month and a $1,132 Segal AmeriCorps Education Award once the term of service has been completed.

We're looking for one VISTA to head up outreach and communications, and another one to focus on using volunteers to gather data in the Grant-Ferry and Dearborn neighborhoods.
